                                 PRAYER

  The Chaplain, the Reverend Patrick J. Conroy, offered the following 
prayer:
  Loving God, we thank You for giving us another day.
  As the numbers of new coronavirus infections remain high throughout 
the Nation, we ask Your blessing and protection on those caring for the 
sick. We ask Your healing power to come upon those who are stricken. 
May their recoveries be swift.
  Many Americans find their financial straits to be desperate and are 
facing the loss of their homes and apartments. Impel and inspire our 
congressional Members with the wisdom and courage to address these 
needs with the immediacy which their constituents are experiencing 
them.
  May all that is done be for Your greater honor and glory.
  Amen.
