                              APPOINTMENT

  The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. The Chair, on behalf of the 
President of the Senate, pursuant to Public Law 81-754, as amended by 
Public Law 93-536 and further amended by Public Law 100-365, appoints 
the following Senator to the National Historical Publications and 
Records Commission: the Honorable Daniel Sullivan of Alaska.
