  Mr. McEACHIN. Madam Speaker, I was unavoidably detained on January 8, 
2020 during roll call no. 2, On Ordering the Previous Question, 
Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 535) to require the 
Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to designate per-
and polyfluoroalkyl substances as hazardous substances under the 
Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act 
of 1980. Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea.'' I was also 
unavoidably detained during roll call no. 3, On Agreeing to the 
Resolution, Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 535) to 
require the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to 
designate per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances as hazardous substances 
under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and 
Liability Act of 1980. Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea.'' 
I was also unavoidably detained during roll call no. 4, On Motion to 
Suspend the Rules and Pass, as Amended, Secure 5G and Beyond Act. Had I 
been present, I would have voted ``yea.''
