                          ORDERS FOR TUESDAY, 
                            JANUARY 7, 2020

  Mr. McCONNELL. Now, Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when 
the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 10 a.m., 
Tuesday, January 7; further, that following the prayer and pledge, the 
morning hour be deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved 
to date, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later 
in the day, and morning business be closed; further, that following 
leader remarks, the Senate proceed to executive session and resume 
consideration of the Carranza nomination; that notwithstanding rule 
XXII, the postcloture time expire at 12:15 p.m. tomorrow; and that if 
confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon 
the table and the President be immediately notified of the Senate's 
action. Finally, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate recess 
following the vote until 2:15 p.m. to allow for weekly conference 
meetings, and that at 2:15 p.m., the Senate proceed to the 
consideration of Executive Calendar No. 329.
