  Under clause 3 of rule XII,

       140. The SPEAKER presented a petition of Mr. Gregory D. 
     Watson, a citizen of Austin, TX, relative to requesting 
     enactment of Federal legislation that would prohibit an 
     employer from inquiring into the credit history or credit 
     score of a job applicant, or that of an existing employee, 
     when making a decision to hire, or to promote or demote, a 
     current worker; which was referred to the Committee on 
     Education and Labor.
