                         MESSAGE FROM THE HOUSE

  At 3:02 p.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bill, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 2. An act to authorize funds for Federal-aid highways, 
     highway safety programs, and transit programs, and for other 
     purposes.

  The message also announced that pursuant to 22 U.S.C. 276L, clause 10 
of rule I, and the order of the House of January 3, 2019, the Speaker 
appoints the following Members on the part of the House of 
Representatives to the British-American lnterparliamentary Group: Mr. 
Aderholt of Alabama, Mr. Cole of Oklahoma, Mr. Latta of Ohio, and Mr. 
Thornberry of Texas.
  The message further announced that pursuant to 22 U.S.C. 276d, clause 
10 of rule I, and the order of the House of January 3, 2019, the 
Speaker appoints the following Members on the part of the House of 
Representatives to the Canada-United States Interparliamentary Group: 
Mr. Bergman of Michigan, Mr. Burchett of Tennessee, Mr. Hagedorn of 
Minnesota, and Mr. Stauber of Minnesota.
  The message also announced that pursuant to section 732(a) of the 
United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement Implementation Act (Public Law 
116-113), the Minority Leader appoints the following member to the 
Independent Mexico Labor Expert Board: Mr. Stefan Marculewicz of 
Severna Park, Maryland.
  The message further announced that pursuant to section 732(a) of the 
United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement Implementation Act (Public Law 
116-113), the Minority Leader appoints the following member to the 
Independent Mexico Labor Expert Board: Mr. Philip Miscimarra of 
Bethesda, Maryland.
